WITC Superior Campus Parking Lot Replacement
           
The project consists of removal of the existing asphalt surface. Preparing existing base for
placement of new asphalt surface. Placement of new 4 inch thick HMA pavement. Painting of striping
for parking spaces and symbols. Base project area is approximately 52,065 square feet, alternate
project area is an additional area of approximately 14,850 square feet.
 
   
 

WITC Ashland Campus Parking Lot Replacement
           
The project consists of milling existing asphalt surface and incorporating milled material into
existing base. Grading and preparation of aggregate base to accept placement of new asphalt surface.
Placement of new 4” HMA pavement. Painting of striping for parking spaces and symbols. Construction
of new stormwater catchment areas and associated excavation and grading. Placement of topsoil, seed,
and mulch in areas of disturbed turf as required. Base project area is approximately 42,220 square
feet of asphalt replacement and corrective grading.
 
   
 

WITC New Richmond Campus Addition & Alterations
           
The projects consists of a 7,680 square foot addition to the existing main Campus building,
approximately 5,678 square feet of alterations in the main Campus building and approximately 6,400
square feet of alterations in the existing Power Equipment Center building. The addition will occupy
a Welding Lab and Small Engines Lab. The alterations in the main Campus building consist of
constructing a Corridor to access the addition and altering adjacent spaces. The alterations in the
Power Equipment Center building consist of demolishing a large portion of the north interior rooms
and construction new rooms in a different arrangement, toilet room alterations and a new entry door
system. All work will have associated plumbing, HVAC and electrical work. The addition will be fully
sprinklered with a new system. The Construction Manager for the project is Derrick Commercial
Contracting, 1505 Highway 65, New Richmond, Wisconsin. (715) 246-2320. The addition and the
alterations in the Power Equipment Center building are being designed to meet the requirements of
the USGBC LEED® Silver certification process. Passwords for drawings and specifications will be
available March 29, 2010. Please email your passwords requests to legend@legendarch.com and include
all company information if you wish to be added to the Bidder's List. BID SUBMITTAL POSTPONED TO
APRIL 28, 2010 AT 10:00 A.M. FOR ALL BID PACKAGES.
 
   
 

Alterations to North Woods Community Health Center
           
The project consists of interior alteration work that will be phased during construction in order to
maintain clinic operations to the greatest extent possible. Consideration will be given to normal
construction practices and schedules so as to provide contractors with the ability to perform their
work as efficiently as possible. In general the phased approach will adhere to the following
schedule: Phase 1: Demolition and Remodeling of the Existing Registration, Waiting, Office and
Exam Room areas (areas currently occupying approximately the southwest quarter of building). Phase
2: Demolition and Remodeling of the Existing Exam Rooms, X-Ray and Nurses Station/Lab areas (areas
currently occupying approximately the northwest quarter of building). Phase 3: Demolition and
Remodeling of the Existing Offices, Physical Therapy, Toilet Rooms and support areas (areas
currently occupying approximately the northeast quarter of building). Phase 4: Demolition and
Remodeling of the Existing Exercise Room, Community Room and Corridor areas (areas currently
occupying approximately the southeast quarter of the building). A complete schedule that will
establish milestone dates and specific deadlines will be determined at the time of the
preconstruction meeting. Passwords and documents will be available November 30, 2009. Please email
